Once you’ve downloaded the POWERDRIVE app and created an account:
Riders can book their ride by providing the following details
● Pickup Location
○ Location from where the rider wants to start the trip.
● Where To
○ It is the destination/ location in which the rider wants to go.
*You can also automatically set your current address as the 'pickup' location once you've enabled GPS in your phone.
The cost of the trip is calculated based on the distance and duration of the trip.
Discounts, traffic delays, and other considerations such as adding a stop or changing your destination are not reflected in fare estimates. Any changes to your ride will result in a difference in price between your fare estimate and your actual fare.
Riders have the option of paying with cash, credit card, or e-wallet. Riders can also use the "Add Promo / Gift Code" option to add a promo or gift code.
PowerDrive offers four different types of vehicles:
● PowerMoto- Motorcycle rides
○ PowerCar- Premium/ VIP
● PowerPool- SUVs for ride sharing
○ PowerTaxi- Taxi cabs
Riders can opt for a ride-sharing option, by selecting a pool vehicle. Once the vehicle is chosen,
the riders go ahead with a number of seats. Based on the capacity of the vehicle, the rider can go for a pool option. Each rider can book up to 3 seats only for a single trip.
You can track your ride right from the app, so you always know where you are.
Customers will be able to share ride details with emergency contacts that they provide when they register for the app.
Once a driver has been assigned to you, the app sends you information about the vehicle and driver who will be arriving at your pickup location. The Driver's name, photo, along with the vehicle's make, model, and license plate number will be displayed on the screen.
Drag the destination pin to the new drop-off point.
Along with the new location, the ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) and fare will be automatically updated.
If the app isn't reading your location properly, try and connect to a WiFi instead of your data. You can also try changing your location settings:
If you’re using Android:
Go to Settings - Location and select the mode you prefer.
GPS is more accurate but consumes more battery, while using mobile networks or WiFi is less precise but has a lower consumption.
If you are an iPhone user, we recommend:
Go to Settings – Privacy - Location services and make sure that the location is active and enabled in our application.
POWERDRIVE allows you to cancel or update without a fee if you haven't yet matched with a driver.
The rider may arrange the booking schedule when they have free time and then ride comfortably later in their busy schedule.
When you need to send or pick up your friends and family, you can use your app to request a ride for someone else as long as they’re in legal age.
We are dedicated to protecting your personal data and upholding your right to privacy.

You can cancel a booking using the app at any time, but if you cancel after you've been paired with a driver, you may be charged a cancellation fee.
When there are no cars around to pick you up, wait for a few minutes, drivers transporting other passengers may drop them off and become available again. Drivers who are driving around waiting for riders might drive closer to your location.
After your trip, you can rate your driver and give feedback.
All feedback is anonymous, and it's reviewed before it's shared with drivers and the community.
We recommend riders to give honest ratings to their drivers, as low ratings can have an impact on a driver's account and credibility. Please verify your rating before submitting it, since you will not be able to change it.
The chat option is available once the driver accepts the request. Under the security roof without sharing phone numbers, drivers can have a separate room in the app itself to communicate with riders.
A per-minute wait time fee will be charged to a rider after the 5-minute mark from when the driver arrives at the rider's location.
If the driver has arrived at the pick-up location and has started the trip without you being on board of the vehicle, we ask that you please contact us as soon as possible and let us know what has transpired.
Our drivers take the most efficient route as determined by the GPS. However, depending on traffic, the route may change to better navigate around the congested areas for faster travel time.
The final trip price can only differ from the original estimation if you make extra stops during your trip, exceed the waiting time, change your drop off point and if you go through tolls not included in the estimated fare.
We take safety incidents reported to us very seriously. Any activity that includes violence, sexual misbehavior, or any illegal action is strongly prohibited within PowerDrive’s Community Guidelines. If you had an uncomfortable or unsafe experience, please contact us and tell us all the details concerning your trip, and we'll handle the rest.

As soon as you realize something is missing. Please contact us and provide
specific information about your item(s) and where you believe they may be in the vehicle, so we can quickly contact your driver to arrange the prompt return of your item.
Only two pets per ride is permitted but can be negotiated depending on the size and discretion of the driver. This way, we can provide you and your pets with the best ride possible.
Please let us know if your driver's car does not match the description provided. Rest assured that all concerns are taken very seriously and will be investigated thoroughly.
We take into account everybody’s situation and standing because we want to build a platform that anybody can benefit. Riding with assistive devices should not affect your ability to request a trip. However, we do advise you to contact your driver in advance to ensure their car can accommodate your needs.
For us, your safety and security are the most important thing. Each trip that you make with us is tracked, we use modern vehicles and our drivers have each been through a careful selection process and hold all the necessary licenses and insurance.

Since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, we have reinforced our safety and health measures so that you can get around without worries.
We have reinforced the protocols for cleaning vehicles, promoting the use of disinfectant solutions to keep contact areas hygienic. We keep up to date with local authorities' recommendations in terms of vehicle occupancy, and we inform our passengers accordingly.
If you believe that being in the car with your driver is compromising your health, you have the right to gently explain the situation to them and end the trip.
We ensure the provision of personal protective equipment, such as hand disinfectant, gloves and masks, for our drivers, so they can take you safely to your destination.

A phone number that the driver is going to use for the service is to be filled for verification purposes. Once the process is completed the driver has to enter personal details like name, email, gender, address, city, and province.
The driver should upload the photo of the following:
Certificate of Registration with the Official Receipt
Proof of Franchise or PA (Provisional Authority)
Passenger’s and Third-Party Liability Insurance
Driver’s License (Front and Back/Reverse)
*Drivers have to upload the photo of the license and it should be easy to read the details.
The driver registers their vehicle by entering the make, model year of manufacture of the vehicle. Along with it are the license plate number and vehicle color.
Yes, PowerDrive provides training programs to drivers who qualify to be part of PowerDrive.
The app shows your location and estimated pick-up or drop off time as needed, your picture, first name, the make/model/color, license plate number, your driver rating & feedback from previous trips.
Drivers must go through a multi-step safety assessment that looks for basic traffic offenses, impaired driving, and violent crime.

The booking request will display the desired trip type and/or vehicle, as well as the rider's rating. the pickup location's time and distance, an estimate of your profit from the fare, and the pick-up and drop-off locations
Drivers can add and edit the payout details by clicking the “Add Payout” option. Drivers can add or edit their Paymaya or GCash account or bank details. This will be used by the admin to transfer the amount after the successful completion of the ride.
No, only the person registered as the driver can use the account under PowerDrive. Anyone else must be subjected to the terms and conditions specified in the contract.
The app will prompt you to decide if you will continue to wait, or cancel so that you can accept other rides.
You can reach out to the rider via the chat or call option to see if they are on their way or having trouble finding you.
Once you’ve accepted a booking request, you can contact the rider via message or phone call.
Tap the PHONE icon to call or tap the CHAT icon to send an in-app message.
Riders can share their tips amount with the driver within the app while doing online payment.
Drivers and Riders alike are allowed to cancel confirmed bookings in certain situations. Drivers can cancel their bookings through the driver interface provided by PowerDrive.
PowerDrive tracks the cancellation rate or if the driver cancels one ride in a short period of time. When it exceeds the allowed number, a warning will be sent to the driver. If the cancellation rate continues to climb, the driver risks deactivation.
The ride request will remain intact. You can re-open the app after the phone crash, the details of the trip remain.
Please let us know if a rider's language or actions harmed your personal safety or ability to complete a trip. Contact us, we will review and get back to you as soon as possible.
The main method we measure the satisfaction of your riders are through your ratings and rider feedbacks. Higher-rated drivers also make more in tips and will be more marketable amongst users.
Drivers should not be penalized for factors beyond their control, such as traffic or the cost of the transport. Such ratings will be removed from your account. Please contact us if you believe you have been unjustly rated.
No. Riders and drivers cannot rate each other for rides that have been cancelled for any reason.
PowerDrive records your driving habits using telematics technology. Speed, sharp turns, hard braking, and other driving patterns are all recorded. This greatly reduces the ability of riders to make false claims against drivers.
Drivers are required to have a personal auto insurance policy that meets minimum coverage requirements.
Drivers can view their payment details through the app. Driver can check the pickup time, vehicle, duration, distance in KM and the total earnings. The daily earnings can also be seen by providing the begin trip and end trip date.
If your account is blocked, this may have happened due to violation of our Terms & Conditions.
Please make sure that your activity is compliant with the rules of our service.
It’s possible that you already have an account with your email address or your phone number has been registered before. It could also be that your profile already exists with the Facebook account you tried to log in.
If your phone number is linked to an account that is not yours, please contact us.
If the account is yours, we encourage you to keep using your previously created account.
If you prefer to use the new account, you can choose to link your phone number to your new account by verifying your mobile phone number with OTP sent by SMS. Once verified your phone number will be directly registered in your new account.
We recommend reinstalling the app or double checking that cookies are activated in your browser settings.
Every rider will see a photo of your face in your Driver Profile Photo before and during the trip. It's important that this photo be clear and visible so that the user can identify you as the correct driver.
You only have one chance to leave a rating. Don’t write anything inappropriate, discriminatory or aggressive. Every remark will be reviewed before going public.
If you are an Android user, please follow these steps:
Go to the Settings of your phone.
Select Applications.
Find PowerDrive in your list of apps.
Tap on Storage, then clear data.
*This might help to reset the app, and, therefore, get rid of some issues.
If you have an iOS device, please try deleting and reinstalling the app.

Your phone number isn't recognized, or you didn't receive the four-digit verification code? Consider the following:
Check to see if your phone number is correct: If the country code or phone number is incorrect, double-check and update your phone number on your profile.
If you see a notification stating that your phone number is already associated with another account, log in to that account rather than creating a new one.
Transport Network Vehicle Service (TNVS) refers to vehicle owners who provide transportation services.
According to the LTFRB, the online registration for 5,000 new applicants for the TNVS has already been completed on July 29, 2019.
The Board has not announced a date yet for accepting new applicants, but it says that the date will be shared on the official website at www.ltfrb.gov.ph.

While the LTFRB is not accepting any new applications as of this moment, the Board may release a date for accepting new applicants the next day. And when that happens, you should have your requirements ready.
According to LTFRB, it is the VEHICLE OWNER’s name appearing in the ORCR and Sales Invoice that should be the TNVS Applicant.
VEHICLE OWNER = TNVS APPLICANT
This means that all the requirements for TNVS (both PA requirements and CPC requirements) that you will pass should be under the name of the TNVS Applicant = Vehicle Owner.
Acquire a case number. Before going to the LTFRB office make sure to place all of your TNVS requirements inside a long orange folder. Here’s a list of other requirements you’ll need to present on your appointment date;
Four copies of “notarized verified application” alleging proof of citizenship and financial capacity.
A photocopy proving your Filipino citizenship. Allowed documents might be your marriage certificate, your Voter’s I.D., a Valid Philippine Passport, or an authenticated birth certificate from the Philippine Statistics Authority.
One photocopy of a Government Issued I.D. preferably with your picture on it.
One photocopy of the LTO issued official receipt (OR) and CR of your motor vehicle. (Motor vehicle must be owned by you, the applicant.)
A duly accomplished operator’s datasheet. Download the sheet here. This was also included in the LTFRB online confirmation email.
You, the applicant, must be present during the appointment date at the LTFRB Central Office, East Eve, Quezon City. Note however that your parents or children along with a special power of attorney (SPA) can appear in your place.
Also, take note of the TNVS application fees. Once the LTFRB verified your name in their database. They will then evaluate your requirements, and then issue you a payment order slip. Pay that, and then they will receive your application.
To process your TNVS Accreditation, there are TWO (2) permits/steps you need to get
First, Provisional Authority (PA)
Then, Certificate of Public Convenience (CPC)
Provisional Authority is a temporary official permit recognized by the LTFRB for TNVS operations.

A photocopy of your verified LTFRB TNVS application form stamped with your case number, along with the LTFRB official receipt.

You’ll also need to get passenger insurance (PAMI or SCCI). You can get these from a nearby building located at 2F Prima Bldg., East Ave, Quezon City. Prepare Php 2,639.00 if your vehicle is a sedan/hatchback or Php 3,139.00 if it’s an AUV/wagon.

You must prove that you have a garage for your vehicle. You’ll need a location map, preferably from Google Maps, and a sample photo of your garage showing how large it is. If you own the garage, make sure to bring the Transfer Certificate of Title (TCT) or Tax Declaration of the property with your name on it. If you’re leasing the garage, provide a notarized copy of your garage’s contract lease or authority to use, as well as a copy of its owner’s TCT. Also, provide an LGU Zoning Certificate for the location of the garage if you have three units. And finally, you’ll need a Certificate of Conformity which you can get from any major financial institution. You’ll only need this if you’re still paying for your vehicle’s monthly amortization.
If you managed to acquire an Interim Provisional Authority stamp before the 30th day after getting your case number, you’ll need to go back to LTFRB to follow-up on your hearing date.
Release will typically take 30 working days
The PA is only valid for 90 days. If it expired, then you’ll need to get a new one if you weren’t issued a CPC yet. You can also get a PA extension before the 90-day expiry.
Certificate of Public Convenience (CPC) is referred to as the franchise or franchise permit.
REMEMBER: As per LTFRB, the Vehicle Owner = TNVS Applicant. This means that all the document requirements below SHOULD be under the name of the TNVS Applicant = VEHICLE OWNER.

You will only be charged once we have submitted your application to the LTFRB. You shall be notified through your payment statements when we will be charging you. Payments are also made by a reduction of your weekly statements in three (3) consecutive weeks. For vehicles in excess of 4, you will be charged another P1,500 per unit. As per LTFRB regulation, You are required to have this coverage on top of any other existing insurance you currently have. PAMI Passenger Accident Insurance cost is per vehicle.
Passenger Accident Management and Insurance Agency, (PAMI) is a required Passenger Accident Insurance by the LTFRB to all public transportation in the country.
The LTFRB list of approved vehicles for TNVS includes four-door sedans, MPVs, AUVs, and SUVs. As per the last LTFRB announcement, hatchbacks are already allowed to operate as TNVS units but in a limited quantity and capacity.
If you weren’t issued a CPC yet, then you’ll need to get a new one. You can also get a PA extension before the 90-day expiry.
The TNVS unit must be at least 3 years old or newer upon TNVS application.
No. Applicants must, however, state in their applications that they have been accredited by TNCs.
